PROPOSAL NUMBER #081417 – LHS Parking Lot and Access Road

The Lowndes County Board of Education (“the Board”) is requesting proposals for the purpose of retaining an

experienced and qualified vendor for new paving of parking lot and access road at specified location.

Scope of Work:

 Perform required grading to facilitate the placement of base.

 Prepare edges of existing asphalt paving to provide for a smooth transition.

 Furnish, haul and spread 6” of granite GAB ≈ 2,593 SY.

 Pave entire specified area using 1.5” of asphalt ≈ 2,593 SY.

Specified Location of Work: Extend South end of drivers education range into triangular area defined by chain link

fencing; pave grass area adjacent to access drive at South end of Martin Stadium into triangular area defined by chain

link fencing; install 24’ wide roadway connecting South end of drivers education range to access road at North end of

Lowndes County Board of Education.

Timeline: September 23, 2017 – Vendor may begin contractual work

October 26, 2017 – All contractual work to be completed
