The Lowndes County School District will be accepting sealed bids for sale of surplus vehicles. Bids will be received until 2:00 pm on Monday, October 23rd, 2017, at the Lowndes County Board of Education Office at 1592 Norman Drive, Valdosta, GA 31601. Bids will be opened at the Board of Education on October 24th, 2017, at 2:00 pm. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The equipment is available for inspection and Bid packets can be picked up at the Lowndes County School District’s Transportation Department at 1064 Howell Road, Valdosta, GA 31601 between 8:30 am – 3:00 pm, Monday thru Friday, September 26th through October 20th. Sale of surplus vehicles is made on as-is, where-is basis. There are no warranties, implied or otherwise, as to the condition of said vehicles. This will be a strictly CASH ONLY sale.

All buses with a (*) by them carry a minimum bid of $1500.00 each.

Successful bidder will be notified and payment must be made by November 24th, 2017 and vehicle(s) must be removed from the Transportation Department no later than November 30th, 2017.
